Review by hotel critic
Nestled in the idyllic Alfama district, the Chiado hotel provides a serene escape with a hint of boutique charm. My stay was rejuvenating, thanks to the spacious premium room offering a king-size bed, a large terrace with a panoramic city view that was perfect for unwinding. The 24-hour concierge effortlessly arranged airport transfers and even in-room spa treatments, adding a touch of luxury to my experience. The hotel's peaceful ambiance was complemented by the tranquility of my own terrace, where I could soak in the breathtaking views of the historical area. The staff's multilingual proficiency ensured a seamless experience, and the late check-out service allowed me to savor every moment of relaxation. While I didn't indulge in all the amenities, such as the yoga classes or the conference room, I appreciated the attention to detail with a furnished balcony, perfect for enjoying the serene surroundings. The Chiado hotel's central location, coupled with its warm hospitality, makes it an ideal retreat for those seeking a tranquil stay in the heart of the bustling city.
